Honoring the Ancestors: A Ceremonial Circle

This particular time of year across cultures, throughout history has been a time of honoring those who came before us, our roots, our ancestors; and if we pause to expand upon the beliefs/perspectives around ancestry, roots, lineage we can not only see but feel how in addition to blood & bone it also encompasses our spiritual lineages and our inner-personal lineage.  Bringing us to a fuller awareness of the multitude traditions across cultures ( All Saints Day, El Dia de Los Muertos, Samhain….the seasonal time of hunting and harvesting, and outside of all of that connecting right now to all that is.)

The Space Held:

As we have begun to land and open this ceremonial space we are clear that many lineages, traditions, & beings will arrive with each participant.  Where each of you is on your path and experience will vary as well.

We welcome you-

Our outline for this gathering is centered around the 4, as it took 2 sets of parents to birth the parents who birthed you.  Part of the general essence of 4 is stability and it is within that stabilizing frequency we begin.  Asking and inviting you to feel into and choose 4 being from your lineage/ancestry that you’d like to sit with.  We will send more info on this piece once you are registered.) From there we unfold, listen, honor, and-

Each participant is asked to have/ bring a few things to create a small honoring/altar space.  You will need a candle, 1 thing to represent & 1 thing to offer/honor each of the 4 ( more details will be sent upon registration.) It is from a place of deep honoring that we open the door of this space to sit with you.
